Bookkeeper/Office Admin

We are a well-established successful small company seeking an individual with solid bookkeeping and office administrative know how. This position requires an individual who must be proficient in multi-tasking and versatile in assuming a broad range of activities in a small office environment. Typical duties will include:

  • Managing all aspects of accounts payable, receivables, collections, payroll
  • Conducting monthly trial balances and bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Preparing financial reports systems to support timely and accurate decision making
  • Preparing monthly government remittances
  • Assuming cash management responsibilities, involving multi currencies
  • Performing month end closings
  • Managing year end financial audit process with external auditor
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Data entry of various product and customer information
  • Assuming responsibilities for all documentation and co-ordination of the company’s expediting/shipping requirements on an international basis
  • Arranging travel and related itineraries

As the best fit for this great opportunity

  • You have several years of solid bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Post secondary education in the accounting or related field would be an asset
  • You have expertise using QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • You have excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • You have great interpersonal skills and are able to work well effectively with all company members
  • You excel at multi tasking

Location: Mississauga- Brampton
