Currently we are seeking technically competent, reliable and dedicated individuals to carry out video equipment installations and management at our customers’ industrial and commercial premises.
This position will require the following:
· A good working knowledge of video/camera equipment and installations is essential.
· Previous experience as a telecommunications technician is essential
· Solid hands on technical experience in cabling, security systems or network installations
· Other technology related education or experience would also be an asset.
· Excellent physical condition in order to lift equipment weighing upwards of 50 lbs.
· No fear of heights as you will be operating a bucket truck to conduct installations
· Certification in various aspects of provincial Health and Safety (fall/arrest, hydraulic lift) would be a definite asset.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal staff, clients, third party vendors etc including English oral and written communication skills
· A valid driver's license.
· Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as well as at occasional extra hours and weekends, depending on customer commitments.
· A driving record abstract and a police background check.
· The ability to work independently in a stand-alone function and to prepare all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
